  • Carded a 28 (-8) on her front nine of the third round at the Wendy’s Championship for Children to tie an LPGA nine-hole record in relation to par.
2005: 
  • Recorded seven top-10 finishes, including a runner-up finish at the Chick-fil-A Charity Championship hosted by Nancy Lopez, where she crossed the $2 million mark in career earnings. 
  • Finished fourth at the HSBC Women’s World Match Play Championship, where she defeated top-ranked Annika Sorenstam in the quarterfinals before losing to eventual champion Marisa Baena in the semifinals.
2004: 
  • Best of 10 top-10 finishes was third place at the John Q. Hammons Hotel Classic presented by Ford. 
  • Tied for third at The Mitchell Company Tournament of Champions, where she tied her career-low 64 during the third round.
2003: 
  • Won three tournaments: the LPGA Takefuji Classic, Wachovia LPGA Classic hosted by Betsy King and the rain shortened State Farm Classic, where she crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings. 
  • Carded career-low 64s during the first rounds of the Wendy’s Championship for Children at Tartan Fields and the State Farm Classic.
2002: 
  • Tied for fourth at the Weetabix Women’s British Open. 
  • Recorded her first LPGA career hole-in-one during the third round of the Wegmans Rochester LPGA.
2001: 
  • Turned professional in August. 
  • Competed on the Futures Tour, where she won the final event of the season, the Futures Tour Championship; tied for 15th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 2002 LPGA season.

Amateur:

  • Kung was a three-time American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) All-American and was named 1999 AJGA Player of the Year. 
  • She won the 2001 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship. 
  • While at the University of Southern California, Kung was a two time NCAA All-American and won the 2000 Pac-10 Championship.
