The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has been named to the shortlist in five categories for the prestigious Sixth Annual Hashtag Sports Awards, presented by The Engagement Academy of Sports Entertainment, which recognizes and celebrates excellence in engagement within the sports, media and entertainment industries, highlighting endeavors that inspire new and creative fan experiences.
The LPGA has been honored as a finalist in the following categories:

- Content | Best Women's Sports Content: ‘The Shot’ – 25th Year Anniversary of Se Ri Pak’s Win at the 1998 U.S. Women’s Open
- Impact | Best Engagement for Good: LPGA Foundation (LPGA*USGA Girls Golf) – One Million MORE Girls Campaign
- Video | Best Documentary: Long-Form: ‘The Shot’ – 25th Year Anniversary of Se Ri Pak’s Win at the 1998 U.S. Women’s Open
- Video | Best Original Film Or Series: Long-Form: Drive On: LPGA All Access
- Brand & Partnership | Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging: The Grant Thornton Invitational – Two Tours. One Competition
This year’s award winners will be announced on June 6, 2024, in New York City, where industry leaders will come together to celebrate excellence in engagement across various sectors.
The Hashtag Sports Awards, presented by the Engagement Academy of Sports Entertainment, are peer-based awards that establish the benchmark for excellence in sports content, media, marketing and experiences.
