Rolex Rankings Move of the Week: Beatriz Recari

Last week's CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge came down to a fight between two LPGA Tour rookies - Beatriz Recari and Gwladys Nocera. Recari parred the final hole of the championship to earn a one-stroke victory over Nocera. The victory catapulted Recari up 98 spots in the Rolex Rankings to No. 74, earning her this week's Rolex Rankings Move of the Week.

Recari became the second Rolex First-Time winner of the 2010 season and the first LPGA rookie to hoist a trophy this year. Recari has posted two other top-10 finishes this season, a tie for ninth at the Sybase Match Play and a tie for 10th at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger.

With her second-place finish, Nocera also made a significant move in the rankings. She jumped 25 positions to No. 86. Nocera's previous season best was a tie for sixth at the LPGA State Farm Classic.

Recari and Nocera also made gains in the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year race. Recari moved from fifth to third in the standings, while Nocera edged herself a few points closer to the leader in the race, Azahara Munoz. With five LPGA tournaments remaining, Munoz still holds a commanding 306 point lead over Nocera.
